Jay Volk is the owner and founder of Johnson Volk Consulting, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in consulting engineering and project management in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Jay’s clients have included municipalities, developers, homebuilders, and architects.

Jay has designed and managed a range of infrastructure improvements including retail, commercial, institutional, residential, and municipal projects. He has experience overseeing all aspects of public works engineering and project management including: contracts and specifications, proposals, studies, due diligence, detailed design, cost estimates, scheduling, bidding, construction management, and administration.

Jay is a proud husband and father of two children. His interests include woodworking, sports, and World War 2 history. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Marissa.

Estates of Shaddock Park

Johnson Volk Consulting’s landscape architecture team enjoyed working on the master-planned development, Estates of Shaddock Park, located in southeast Frisco, Texas. This sought-after community comprises 455 home sites, an amenity center, a 6-acre public park, beautiful walking trails, and 17 additional acres of vast green areas for families to enjoy.

Canyon Falls

For over ten years, JVC has provided planning, surveying, engineering, staking and coordination for the development of Canyon Falls. Nearing complete build-out and providing “home” to nearly 2200 families, Canyon Falls lies within the towns of Flower Mound and Northlake, as well as Argyle’s (ETJ) extra-territorial jurisdiction.
